functionthatoverridesthenormal
viewingandnavigationoffunctions
whenanissueoccursonthetruck.
Thesealertmessagesarecalled
“pop-ups”becausetheytakeover
thescreen.Somemessagesare
lowenoughprioritythattheycan
be“suppressed”,whichisdoneby
pushingtheMCSbutton.Therewill
beascreenindicatorshowingwhich
messagesaresuppressible.Ifmultiple
pop-upsarepresentatthesametime,
theyareviewedinastackformat,and
aspinoftheMCSknobwillallowyou
toseethedifferentwarnings.The
highestprioritywarningdefaultstothe
topofthestack.
Whenthevehicleisparked,the
“WarningsandFaults”functionwill
accesssuppressedpop-upsthatare
countedandpresentedintheupper
leftcornerofthescreen.
Byselecting“ReviewWarnings”the
pop-upmessagesarerecalled,and
ifmultipleareactive,thestackcan
benavigatedbyspinningtheMCS
knob.Thewarningdescriptioncanbe
viewedwhendrivingorwhenparked
butthefaultdetailsarevisibleonly
whenparked.Themenuselection
shownintheimageabovesimplywon’t
bethereifthetruckisdriving,though
thewarningsandtell-taleindicators
ontheclusterwillstillbeavailableas
indicatorsiftheproblemisserious.
Faultdetailsscreensinclude:
