BX-2150 COMPRESSOR CYLINDER HEAD DESIGN CHANGE –

ASSY. PC. NO. CHANGEOVER

This bulletin is to advise that the BX-2150 compressor cylinder head has undergone a redesign. The primary

reason for redesigning the cylinder head was to eliminate the need for inlet adapter 297871 when an inlet check

valve (ICV) is in use. This was accomplished by increasing the inlet volume in the new cylinder head. Refer to

Product Bulletin TCH-001-031 dated 9/1/90 for details.

The redesigned head is being gradually phased into BX-2150 compressor production. As the new cylinder head is

incorporated in a particular configuration of the BX-2150 compressor, the assembly part number for the

compressor will change.

A list of all BX-2150 compressors and equivalent service replacement is shown on the reverse side of this

bulletin.
