TU-FLO 501 DETROIT DIESEL ENGINES W/DELCO

OIL-COOLED ALTERNATORS

This is to advise that on the Detroit Diesel 6V or 8V engines where a Delco oil-cooled alternator is used, only a

TuFlo 501 flange mounted compressor will fit. No other Bendix or Midland compressor will fit these engines

when the Delco oil-cooled alternator is installed.

When the Leece Neville alternator is used on the 6V and 8V DDAD engines, only the 52° tilt TuFlo 700

Compressor, O.E. piece Nos. 101635, 101545 and 101651) exchange piece Nos. 101554, 101636), will fit.

Presently DDAD does not furnish the Delco oil-cooled alternator on engines. They are installed by the vehicle

manufacturer.
