QR-V OBSOLESCENCE (Quick Release Valve)

• Due to decreasing customer demand, Bendix is announcing the obsolescence and discontinuance of all QR-V

Quick Release Valves effective June 1, 1985. The QR-V is being replaced by the QR-1 Quick Release Valve. The

popular QR-V numbers affected by this action are 205000 and 224417. The replacement part numbers are as

follows:

Obsolete QR-V Replacement QR-1

205000 229813

224417 229859

You will recognize a significant savings when converting to the QR-1. This will assist you when meeting with

competitive situations in the marketplace.

The service parts for the QR-V will also be discontinued June 1, 1985. These parts include the Bodies, Covers,

other detail parts and the Maintenance Kit.

Should you wish to make a last time purchase, the purchase order must be received by June 1, 1985. All current

orders for QR-V's will be honored.

We recommend that you adjust your records to show the replacement part numbers.
