Ford CF 6000 & CF 7000 Cargo Truck

The purpose of this bulletin is to identify the Bendix equipment used on Ford Motor

Company Cargo truck models CF 6000 and CF 7000.

The Cargo truck is available in either class 6 or 7 depending upon model. Both the

models (CF 6000/7000) are available with either an air over hydraulic or full air brake

system. The fourth position of the seventeen position vehicle identification number (VIN)

will provide the information necessary to determine the vehicle weight class as well as

the type of brake system in use. Refer to the chart below.
